Walton to be title sponsor of Nat'l Cricket League

Walton Hi Tech Industries will be the title sponsors of National Cricket League (longer version) 2011-12, reports BSS.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and Walton jointly arranged a media conference at the Sher-e-Bangla National CricketStadium at Mirpur on Wednesday to provide all details of the sponsorship deal.

BCB CEO Manzur Ahmed and Management Advisor of Walton Industries SM Zahid Hasan spoke on behalf of their respective organisations at the press briefing.

Manzur welcomed their Walton's association with the premier domestic first class tournament: "This year we have modified the format, introduced new rules and have improved the standard of pitches for the NCL. In the coming days you will see the result of these initiatives. We are very glad to have Walton as partners as we begin a new journey for first class cricket.

"Management Advisor of Walton Hi Tech Industries Limited SM Zahid Hasan said his company was excited to be involved with the country's number one game. 

Walton will provide Tk 7 million as the sponsorship fee.
