Walton & Marcel will be the title sponsors of West Indies Tour to
Bangladesh 2011. This was announced at a media conference at the SBNCS,
Mirpur today. BCB G Nizam Uddin Chowdhury welcomed Walton's first
venture with cricket: "I am sure this will be the first of many
instances of cooperation between the BCB and Walton."
R.B. Group Director Md Mizanur Rahman was delighted with his
company's first foray into cricket: "This is a tremendous opportunity
for us. Cricket is the game of life in Bangladesh. We have given special
emphasis on patronizing sports and Walton as pioneers of manufacturing
and exporting electronic and electrical goods and automobiles takes
extreme pride on being associated with the series between Bangladesh and
the West Indies."
Md Humayun Kabir, R.B. Group Director (PR & Media) said: "Cricket
has established an international identity for Bangladesh. People around
the world recognise Bangladesh through its cricket. Similarly Walton's
goal is to make a name for Bangladeshi products internationally. We have
