Bangladesh Red team score 215 for 7 against Green Team

Bangladesh Red team, riding on 85 runs by Imrul Kayes, scored 215 for 7 in 54 overs in the first innings at stumps in a delayed start 2nd day of four-day practice match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur Tuesday, reports UNB.
Earlier, Bangladesh Green team resumed its first innings with overnight 254 for 6 and were all out for 281 runs in 105.1 overs.

All rounder Naeem Islam, who was batting with 95 runs, failed to add any run playing five balls before he was caught behind by wicket keeper Mushfiqur Rahim, off a Shafiul Islam delivery.

Another night watch batsman Elias Sunny (5) remained not out with 16 runs off 63 balls hitting one four and one six while lower order Alauddin Babu made 38-ball 15 runs, featuring two fours.

National pacer Shafiul Islam captured three wickets for 42 runs, another national pacer Rubel Hossain grabbed two for 57 runs while Nazmul Islam Apu and Suhrawardi Shuvo took one wicket apiece.

In reply, National cricketers studded Bangladesh Red scored 215 for 7 in 54 overs at the end of the day. Imrul Kayes scoring a polished 85 runs off 133 balls hitting 14 fours and one six.

Nasir Hossain and Abdur Razzak were batting with 40 and 6 runs when the stumps were drawn.

Besides, national vice captain Mahmudullah Riyad (21), national skipper Mushfiqur Rahim (20), Mohammad Ashraful (16), Suhrawardi Shuvo (12), Shuvagato Hom
(4) and opener Tamim Iqbal (2) were the other contributors for the Red team.
Pacer Shahadat Hossain Rajib grabbed three wickets for 52 runs, Tanvir Haider claimed two for 23 runs while Elias sunny and Shohag Gazi took one wicket each.
